7D5N AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND TOUR

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND (B/L/D)

MORNING:

• Arrive in Auckland and check into your hotel.

AFTERNOON:

• Explore the Viaduct Harbour, taking in the waterfront views

EVENING:

• Visit the Auckland Sky Tower for panoramic views of the city

DAY 2: HOBBITON DAY TRIP (B/L/D)

MORNING:

• Depart early for Hobbiton (approximately 2-2.5 hours from  Auckland). You can either drive or book a guided tour that  includes transportation.

MIDDAY:

• Arrive at Hobbiton and join a guided tour of the movie set.  Explore the iconic Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, and learn  about the filmmaking process.

AFTERNOON:

• After the tour, head back to Auckland.

EVENING:

• Return to Auckland

DAY 3:  EXPLORE AUCKLAND (B/L/D)

MORNING:

• Visit the Auckland War Memorial Museum in the Auckland  Domain. Explore the exhibits on New Zealand’s history, culture,  and natural history.

AFTERNOON:

• Head to the Auckland Zoo or take a stroll through the Auckland  Domain’s beautiful gardens.

DAY 4: DAY TRIP TO WAIHEKE ISLAND (B/L/D)

ALL DAY:

• Take a ferry to Waiheke Island (about 40 minutes). Explore the  island’s vineyard and olive groves. Consider a wine tour that  includes tastings. Relax on one of the beautiful beaches, such as  Onetangi Beach.

EVENING:

• Return to Auckland

DAY 5:  NATURE DAY (B/L/D)

MORNING:

• Drive or take a bus to the Waikere Rangers. Spend the morning  hiking one of the many trails, such as the Kitekite Falls Track.

AFTERNOON:

• Visit Piha Beach, famous for its black sand and surf. Enjoy some time on the beach or take a short walk to the Lion Rock

EVENING:

• Return to Auckland

DAY 6: DEPARTURE (B/L)

 MORNING:

• Depending on your flight time, you can visit the Auckland Art  Gallery or take a walk in Cornwall Park.

AFTERNOON:

• Last-minute shopping at Queen Street or explore the Britomart  area. Check out of your hotel and head to the airport for departure.

DAY 7: BACK HOME
